Gabor shoes was established in 1949 in Germany, by Bernhard and Joachim Gabor. To this day Gabor is still family owned by Achim Gabor, Joachim's son. The present headquarters are located in Rosenheim, Southern Germany. Gabor manufacture their high quality shoes in over four different countries today employing over 2600 people. Their factories are in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Portugal.

Gabor produce over six million pairs a year. With over 400 different styles produced every season.

Gabor products are a grade apart in terms of quality, of materials used and in the finish. Over the years Gabor shoes have maintained traditional handiwork, which in a time of industrial mass production cannot be taken for granted. Gabor select the highest quality materials for the footwear to be constructed from.
